Problems my clients come to me with
A wide variety of problems can arise in a person’s life, with which it is worthwhile or necessary to consult a psychologist. They can be, for example:
Anxiety
A condition characterized by restlessness, agitation, sensitivity, fear, insomnia, or a series of bad dreams. And which can also be accompanied by physical symptoms. These can include heart palpitations, nausea, chest pain, headache, stomachache, muscle tension in the shoulders and neck, dizziness, and fatigue.
Depression
Depression is a form of mood disorders, which can have accompanying symptoms, e.g. constant sadness, loss of interest, feelings of hopelessness. Disturbance of mood and emotional life, slowing down of thinking and decrease in activity are also typical. Disturbances in the emotional life are also accompanied by the appearance of physical symptoms. These symptoms occur temporarily in everyone.
Mood disorders
A condition characterized by one of the following diagnoses: depression, mania, manic depression, post-traumatic stress syndrome. In all cases, the mood changes in a negative direction or fluctuates and significantly complicates everyday life. It is mostly associated with weight changes and sleep problems.
Stress
Continuous tension or permanent nervousness, which is usually a permanent response of the body to one or more permanent negative stimuli. the negative stimulus can be, for example, an expectation regularly present in our lives, a person whose presence or activity frustrates, too much work, etc.
Burn-out
Burnout syndrome is a set of symptoms that is physical-emotional-mental exhaustion resulting from long-term increased emotional stress and adverse stress effects. As time progresses, it gets stronger and stronger, the person feels that his internal resources are exhausted and he is no longer able to perform his work and tasks.
Self-esteem disorders
People suffering from self-esteem disorders have poor performance and are characterized by anxiety. As a consequence of self-esteem disturbances, failures occur at school or at work. Excessively high, externally stimulated positive self-evaluation can also be considered a self-evaluation problem.
Sleep disorders
In most cases, sleep disorders are associated with some physical or psychological illness, or some mental problem, and less often they can also occur as an independent phenomenon. In most cases, the sleep disorder manifests itself as trouble falling asleep or falling asleep, early awakening, or a combination of these.
Psychosomatic symptoms
The psychosomatic indicator refers to processes and disorders that arise from the connection between mental and physical processes. It is most often found in the term psychosomatic illness. These diseases are of spiritual origin, but they can also be detected from disease processes manifested in the body.
Grief, grief processing
In general, the concept of grief is understood as the state following the death of a specific person, however, we can also mourn other losses, for example, the suffering of individual or collective trauma, the breakup of a partnership, unemployment, retirement, moving, changing schools or jobs, dismissal, etc.
Self-knowledge and personality development
A person’s need to get to know the components, limits and possibilities of his own personality as much as possible, to gain insight into the internal driving forces driving his behavior, their background and motive system, and to correctly judge his role and influence in human relations. Develop adequate self-reflection skills and live your life more and more efficiently.
Lifestyle problems
If our soul is tormented by problems and troubles, it endures for a while and then loses its balance. The work invested in achieving mental balance is sometimes difficult and painful. A clean environment, a balanced diet, proper time management, exercise to filter out stress factors, sleep, proper orientation, striving for human relations and better self-knowledge, which helps to solve the problem.
Various addictions
Alcoholism, nicotine addiction, addiction caused by other psychoactive substances, compulsive disorders (e.g. kleptomania, compulsive shopping), eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia), sex and love addictions, partner and relationship addiction, work passion (work alcoholism), gaming passion, computer/internet /television addiction, exercise addiction.

Make an appointment and I will help you if the examinations did not reveal any organic cause behind your various physical symptoms.
In many cases, countless examinations do not reveal any organic causes behind the various physical symptoms. In such cases, most specialists also recommend visiting a psychologist, not by chance.
Generally, there are spiritual or lifestyle reasons in the background.

After a personal check-in and appointment, the first time, we discuss the problems that arise, whether they are unprocessed events from the past or the difficulties occurring in the current life situation, which are the roots of the current problem.
This is followed by a life journey interview to better understand you. Possible questions before the psychological therapy (e.g. how does the psychologist work? What will happen during the sessions?) and – if any – the history of previous treatments are also discussed at this time.
This initial period is also a period of mutual attunement, which is very important, as this is when the deep relationship of trust develops, in which it is possible to talk honestly about anything.
This is followed by a verbal agreement on the framework and goals of the joint work. In all cases, the goals are formulated by the client, the therapist only assists in setting goals with realistic measurable results.
The joint work begins after this, with a method appropriate to your problem, which is based on mutual cooperation and takes place within the framework of consultation and supportive therapy. Giving feedback is an essential element: that’s why we regularly discuss the results achieved, changes, and move forward based on them.
